What is this test?
➤ The MICRAL test is an immunospecific dipstick for detection of low concentrations of albumin in urine (microalbuminuria). The test is intended to be used for screening in an ambulatory setting.
Test Preparations
➤ Midstream collection, don’t collect the first or last part of urine that comes out.
➤ Specimens may be refrigerated up to 24 hours if a delay cannot be avoided.
